What does heat processed mean?
Gentle heat is used to separate the coconut oil from coconut milk. This is a traditional preparation method. The oil is heat processed, not cold pressed.
Why is the oil sometimes solid?
Coconut oil naturally firms up in cooler rooms and melts when warm. This normal change does not mean the oil has spoiled.
Can I use it on hair and skin?
Yes. Use a small amount on dry-feeling body skin or as a pre-wash hair treatment. Patch test first and stop if irritation appears.
